From a trade to a specialism
Çağrı Makina’s story begins with the professional journey of our founder Ahmet Özbaş in 1977. His machining experience, built over the years, developed into a specialism when he took responsibility for thread rolling die manufacturing in 1985.
Understanding materials, how components work together and how to solve production challenges laid the foundation for the manufacturing approach we continue to follow today.
1998: The founding of Çağrı Makina
The knowledge and manufacturing experience gained over the years became an independent production venture with the founding of Çağrı Makina in 1998. Since our establishment, we have focused on manufacturing pipe thread rolling dies, tooling and their spare parts.
Today, at our premises in Istanbul, we continue our work by bringing Ahmet Özbaş’s years of craftsmanship together with our customers’ current production needs.

OUR MANUFACTURING APPROACH
From a complete die
to a single part.
For us, every die calls for careful consideration of material selection, precision workmanship and technical knowledge together. We take care at every stage, from preparing the thread profiles to machining the die components and carrying out final checks.
Alongside complete thread rolling dies, we manufacture rollers, eccentrics, internal tube support mandrels and other die components. In addition to standard production, we carry out custom work based on a sample or technical drawing for different dimensions and technical specifications.
We believe our relationship with customers should continue beyond the sale. We also support the use of existing equipment through maintenance, refurbishment and spare part manufacturing for our own dies and those of other manufacturers.

A shared principle.
The basic purpose of the dies we manufacture is to form threads on tubes or round material by rolling. The dimensions and components of each die are shaped by the work to be done.
We primarily serve the construction and scaffolding sectors. We also manufacture dies and tooling for drilling, chandeliers and lighting, natural gas and other industrial applications. We assess every enquiry together with the material to be used, the required dimensions, thread profile and operating arrangement.
